20+ 2018 (58), 2014 (52), 2009 (58)

Drew also has his most 4th quarter comebacks and game winning drives of his career this year.

When his attempts and yards were a lot higher everyone moaned that stats didnt matter it was about wins, well we have the wins... still moaning and groaning... Dont like the QB, dont like the coach, dont like the owner... You a fan of the color pallet?
Statistically, yes, and that's because he's the best in reads pre-snap...

But you can look at those throws and tell there's very little zip on the ball, consistently...

But I'll roll with a 40yo Drew Brees before 30 other NFL quarterbacks...

Some years the O line was suspect, but Brees' ability to gets rid of the ball quick and the short passing game kept him in the top tier of NFL passers. The result was a slew of 7-9 seasons.

Last and this year things changed. The D is now much better than average. Very good D line and LB play. Pressure on opposing QBs improved DB play. The problem is Brees' only has one dependable receiver to target. Actually he has a legit No 1 for the first time as a Saint. Two if you add in Kamara. When the O line was healthy he had time to allow other receivers to get open. With a injured O line he was down to 2 dependable receivers. Cover those two and the offense struggles. That is one reason why the his numbers and points scored dropped off later in the year. Next season needs a reliable tight end, better backup O line men and upgrades at No 2 & 3 receivers.

Well it was kamara or cooper kulp in 2017 draft I believe and glad we have him but we need to find someone to shake free for Brees it’s stupid Payton got caught with his pants down without a #2 trequon smithhit the rookie wall and stayed plastered to it looks like nfl is too fast for the guy

Agreed & I didn't want him coming back from IR.

Not hitting a open lane & misjudging balls etc.

Sean Payton knows best however the TommyLee lore needs to end.
