Plus One. Well, Mr. Armstead is Mr. Glass with his per game costs, but at the end of the day, Major knows where that line of thinking stops - You Gotta be available...

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Free Agency
Wow, was reading this morning that Todd Bowles is expected to come in and install a 3-4 defense as the ATL has...
WTF?!? Tampa has among the best, top 5, 4-3 LBers on that roster and you're gonna blow that thing up? Tampa needs defensive backs to make that defense special... Anyways, some of the fallout may mean DT Gerald McCoy won't be a good fit in the new 3-4 and as he didn't make the ProBowl for the first time, he may get cut loose... Contending teams may be able to get a one year rental on him if his market doesn't materialize as expected and he decides to enhance his portfolio with a championship ring... Just something to stow away... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Free Agency
While I'm not saying to break the bank, Saints really should try to bring back Davison to try to keep that defensive line chemistry intact...
And then there's the matter of how much do we spend to retain Mark Ingram... Those two contract questions will be among the first to be answered... |

You bet we should go after him! I’d like it a heck of a lot more than last year’s pursuit of Suh. |

Could see the Saints going after Saints Killer WR Golden Tate opposite WR Michael Thomas - cost might be prohibitive though...
Really like Chris's idea of WR Adam Humphries working the underneath stuff - giving Brees a safety release... |

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Free Agency
I hear you XVI but does Jimmy Dickens make that catch Arnold dropped in the end zone? How about a red zone upgrade? In that Lambs game, inside the 20, it's 10-0 instead of 6-0, no? A lot of us hear probably don't want to hear it but having JG on this team could have made a difference.
I'm on the Jesse James train (blocks, catches well and is young) in Free Agency. Whatever the Saints do, I hope we aren't relying on rookie (via draft) at TE to start and make an immediate impact. Trotting out undrafted (Hill, Arnold), lower round TE's and expecting them to perform like Gronk or Kelce' in crucial situations has got to stop. |

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Free Agency
I'd even throw in Mr. Cole Beasley @ slot duties. It's pretty clear that Stephen Jones is moving in a different direction up this way @ DeathStar Nation.
The guy knows how to get open and keep the chains moving on 3rd down. Even with Dak Bortles throwing him the ball. |
