Re: 2019 Saints NFL Free Agency
I'm more worried about a blocking TE than a pass-catching TE...
Josh Hill just has to get back into Payton's good graces with ball security; Hill has shown above average athleticism at the position... Dan Arnold has the frame, hands to be a terrific Tight End; he's just got to put on a lot more weight, continue learning the position, NFL... Griffin is more of a big pass catching H-back who can also handle deep snap duties (a plus)... Jesse James would've been a perfect fit and I don't see why he wasn't a priority to sign; he'll flourish in DET now that he got away from that Drama Circus in PIT... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Free Agency
And judging by a post I saw on Jared Cook’s Instagram, he’s back at home and left NO without a deal. I guess we’re going to look toward the draft for another weapon or two. |

Biggest problem (briefly it was DT after the Big O's mail-order), has been O-line. Now that Max made it public he's retiring, Saints Folk are woke to how serious our offensive line problems really are... |

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Free Agency
Ravens taketh away, and now it's time to taketh back!!!
Payton/Mickster need to mount a very serious effort and let RFA C/G Matt Skura hold some coin... He's a durable (available), hard-working Offensive Lineman who just earned the highest performance-based CBA bonuses... With Unger's money now available, I'd sign him at a league Top 5 average through till he's 30yo, five years, and put the Ravens in a difficult spot to retain the RFA... |

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Free Agency
I wasn't really impressed by Easton with the Vikes, but I guess he'd be a slight upgrade over Clapp and Tom talent-wise and more experienced for sure.
