Having speed is great and all but you must have mastery of the route tree at this level of football. I'd argue his former team mate at Ole Miss Demarkus Lodge (was impressive here in Dallas/Cedar Hill High) is a more proven/polished route runner. |

Ran a 4.31 40. To put that into perspective .. Tyreek "Cheetah" Hill ran 4.28 at his Pro Day. |

I think one guy we could take a flier on in the late rounds as a possible successor to Brees is Trace McSorley. He is very passionate and seems like a good leader. He has enough physical tools to work with and could be very coach-able. Just have a good gut feeling on him.
