this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Austin Carr had opportunities on yesterday but didn't capitalize. I'm all for bringing in another WR. I think Dez would have at least caught one of those passes if not both. Emmanuel Sanders is still my choice before the trade ...

Saints are making the calls but the Dolphins, Redskins, Bengals, Broncos, and Jaguars are asking King's ransom... |

Dak threw some ducks to Michael Gallup (taken a few picks before Tre'quan Smith) yet he found a way to bring em in and keep the chains moving against the Feagles. |

That's not to say Carr wasn't where he was suppose to be, but then again, Teddy hasn't been the model of consistent accuracy either... That's why I'd like to be in the meeting and find out what really happened... Brees hopefully comes back this week, plays well, and we get a different take on what Carr is as a Wide Receiver... |

It's gonna suck if this guy goes to the Packers or 49ers ... both appear to be legitimate contenders in late January. |

Brees will have the ball released before the receiver breaks on the route, making the receivers' jobs easier, making them look better, and, of course, drives will be extended, eating clock, making our defense better... Should we acquire another WR as you're right to argue, we really need 4.3-type speed on the top of the route tree; Hill's winning the TE production battle & @CantGuardMike will get easier, more explosive plays... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
