Re: 2019 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
That would make my day.
The way I see it, AJ will be a UFA at the end of this season. Cincy is a terrible team and they are potentially losing Green anyway without getting anything in return. I can see the logic in why he's been talked about and "rumored" to several teams ... including the Saints. |

At this point of the season, I'll take AJ because he can roll out of bed and become our #2, Dez because of his price tag or Emmanuel Sanders (his route running looked polished last night) as I see a "fit" scheme wise. Looking at the current roster, we currently have THOMAS, GINN and a lot of injured/undrafted guys who can't contribute on Sunday. No timetable on when we might get back a healthy TreQuan or Keith Kirkwood. (Southlake) Jordan Humphries, Carr & Dan Arnold aren't those dudes. My .02 cents on the issues at WR. |

Re: 2019 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
What other WR trade candidates can we think about? I’d be happy with Sanders or Green, but big price tags, unwillingness to be dealt by their teams and competition from other WR-needy teams could make them both difficult to land. There has to be some under the radar options out there.

Re: 2019 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
Major is right that we need a legit boundary threat - Ted Ginn DOES NOT have the legit wheels he had ten years ago, at least not the sudden acceleration...
We really need a couple of Devery Henderson/Brandon Cooks/Cyril Grayson types to just tear the top off the defense and open the intermediate routes for @CantGuardMike and our Tight Ends... I just don't agree with the price tag of using a Day 1, Day 2 pick or even an early Day 3 pick for these short-sided moves; Green is a talent, but I've seen chemistry back-fire (i.e. Roy Williams to Dallas)... Where I truly believe we're hurting is either Payton hasn't committed to the run as he had in Kamara's rookie season, or Murray is just not the replacement for Ingram as Payton/Mickster had hoped... Either way, we still don't have legit boundary speed after @CantGuardMike, and his game is built on physicality, not speed... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Davante Parker, miami.
I haven’t looked at his contract status or anything like that — but he could be good, and the Dolphins could be convinced to deal him as part of the great tank experiment |
