Who's your guy in the 2nd round? They show a lot of Aggie (TX A&M) football up my way so I've seen Jace Sternberger a few times. Big dude, not a fast guy but he can be had in the later rounds.

Only notable "name" I can recall from 2018 at the position is Irv Smith Jr from Bama. He's a stud but I believe a team will take him in the 1st.

Pipe dreams for me at pick #62 are guys like Riley Ridley or Hakeem Butler.

The very same thought occurred to me. Just how many sloppy seconds do we want from the Viqueens?

Eaton has been hurt historically, a la Terron Armstead. Hopefully those days are behind him.

It worked for Unger who had an injury history before coming to New Orleans and being a rock. It does make me a little nervous with the rest of the injury history along the O-line. Like Smash said....hopefully those days are behind him. Welcome To New Orleans big man. Maybe coach Roushar can teach him how to run block better with this O-line.

They start up in Minnesota and end up in Louisiana. It's a Mississippi River thing!

Often injured so Clapp better be ready. Sounds like we will go o-line and d-line in the draft

I like Ridley to fall to us, although it's more likely Butler or Neal will at #62 or draft best Oline available, but I think we'll trade up to #24 with Oakland and land TJ Hockenson or Noah Fant TE's from Iowa and get a 4th out of the deal and draft Oline. In the 5th Jace is a good one for round 5 as well as CJ Conrad from Kentucky at TE if we wait.

Hockenson (6-4, 251) was a surprise early-entry into the 2019 NFL Draft, but it wasn't a bad decision as he could be one of the first tight ends selected. While splitting targets with Noah Fant in 2018, Hockenson totaled 49 receptions for 760 yards with six touchdowns. He has good size and showed some impressive receiving skills in 2018. To go along with being a receiving mismatch weapon, Hockenson is a quality blocker who should quickly develop into a three-down starter in the NFL.

I’m not writing Easton in pen.

He needs to prove he’s ready before we start talking starter.

He is making 6 million a year. Pretty safe to say he's the guy
