Saints Re-Sign CB PJ Williams

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Communications is critical to the success to a secondary and the less turnover the better. To me, bringing back a capable CB is better than bringing in a new one with no on field experience with the others ... even ...

There’s no guarantee that PRob will even still have it this season. He’ll be 32 and coming back from torn ligaments in his ankle. We definitely need PJ.

With the physical style I'd like to see him play some free safety.

I look for Marcus Williams and Crawley to turn it around too. Williams can play like he did his rookie year this backfield could be scary good. Crawley could wind up being extremely solid depth or even take his job back from Apple.

Interested to see how a healthy P-rob changes things. He was doing pretty well before the injury on his own but our other guys couldn’t get on the same page. When he went down is when our DBs started to gel. I remember one or two of our guys, Marcus Williams being one saying they were having trouble getting it together with the “new guys”. P-Rob specifically. I really didn’t get that statement seeing as how NONE of them played together the year before and did fine.
