Re: Saints vs Vikings Game Day Thread
That's exactly what it is "75% of the players won't be there blah blah blah" Davenport Robinson Apple Mario Edwards and those fellas will be there. So if they look bad they look bad, or we can say they didn't look bad but they ain't look good and that's a issue for players who are expected to contribute

Re: Saints vs Vikings Game Day Thread
MT dropping that pass had nothing to do with anyone else but MT, it wasn't the throw he just dropped a TD that he should have caught. To my understanding I don't think anyone is saying we aren't capable of being a good team or whatever you're making the analysis of the preseason game out to be, but it's clear as that the performance put out on the field yesterday is less than encouraging from some starters and potential backups.

I'm a win-1st kinda guy, so even a semi-meaningless loss irks me. I doubt Payton was telling Arnold & PRob after their boners "Its ok, Pookie. It doesn't count anyhow." Sky ain't falling. It woulda been great to win, but we can kinda see about where we are. |

Re: Saints vs Vikings Game Day Thread
Wins, Losses in a PreSeason game don't affect me as much as the way we played...
The offensive line was okay (got serious doubts about Easton); the defensive line was poor, considering that's not an elite line... And among the CBs, Apple, P-Rob, Hardee, Crawley were playing that air-raid 2016 pass defense and couldn't locate a ball... Though he got called for Pass Int (questionable), thought Webster looked pretty good out there last night - a pleasant surprise... |

I agree our oline looked pretty good. I thought Teddy looked pretty good. Alvin is Alvin. MT dropped a tough ball in traffic it happens. But anybody who doesn't want to acknowledge the crap we saw on defense is drinking some spiked kool aid. Of course it can be fixed. It was the first preseason game. It doesn't matter? That's a bill of goods Saintfan ain't buyin'. |

If MT or Kamara would have got hurt though everyone on this forum would have blown a fuse. |

"Blown a fuse" is putting it mildly.
