Five key takeaways from Saints' win vs. Chargers: Bridgewater struggles, red zone errors, more

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I have zero insight on what coaches think on certain players, however I hope they continue to develop Justin Hardee at corner back. He's not a bad prospect out on those boundaries. I saw good things from him yesterday....

I missed most of the game. What happened with Butler. Saw he had 3 targets but hauled in none.

Can he be a WR3 or 4. Doesn't look like it.

He dropped one that him him right in the hands...looking to turn up field before securing the ball. The other two passes weren't really catchable.

Saying that...once again I was impressed by Lil Jordan and Simmie Cobbs...I hope Butler isnt another AA...training camp all pro...gametime dud.

Carr scored a TD....although it was blown coverage, that is the type of play that will make the difference between making the team and not.

Butler better strap up these next two games...

Lil Jordan used his size and catching radius to haul in a perfect pass from Taysom. Nothing the defender could do to even whiff it. He looks to be a gamer rather than a practice guy. When I saw him in practice, he was dropping way too many.

If Chris Banjo didn't have a guaranteed contract, he'd be gone on cut-down day...

Just something of note ... Dwayne Washington had 2 special team tackles. That's huge. I still think Ozigbo needs to play lights out from here on out to over take him.

Looked a bit tentative & nervous. Teddy threw a bad pass to him on one occasion & Taysom threw a dart but hit him in the face mask.

Definitely not a 3 or 4 at this point.

I was pulling for Ozigbo. That would be several misses if not; Murphy, Scott and him. Granted, Murphy and Scott are on other teams so not sure. Kamara has kind of made us RB snobs.

Latavius, does seem he will work out. May have pick him up. He's going for $14-15 in auction and likely more in a couple weeks. Going to cringe if it goes any higher. but..meh I'd be ok paying a little higher than market value if he can get 3/4 of Ingram's production.

Lil Jordan plays nasty in games. Doesn't translate to practice for whatever reason but who cares if he pulls it together when it counts.

Another practice stud was devante harris but was a game day dud. I wasn't sold on lil jordan at the beginning but from these two games has impressed me. I’ll take a gamer over a practice stud any day
