this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Don't remember if this has been done before. I have been here since '99 (different name) and don't recall seeing it. How about an AB thread with zero STATISTICS allowed on either side of the debate? Go with your gut! ...

AB Thread No Stats Allowed!
Don't remember if this has been done before.
I have been here since '99 (different name) and don't recall seeing it. How about an AB thread with zero STATISTICS allowed on either side of the debate? Go with your gut! I will go first. See below sig. |

RE: AB Thread No Stats Allowed!
AB will never be able to lead this team anywhere without help from the defense. even then he is sketchy at best. however, if we have any hope for him to truly emerge with his many talents and smiling head on straight we will need to see improvment from every person on the field.
or he could just go to another team in the NFC south. |

My opinion -- in the past: great physical attributes -- lousy intangibles -- no consistency -- huge cap hit growing even higher next year ---
This year: Improved line, emphasis on simplifying the offense, emphasis on the running game with a healthy enthused Deuce Prognosis: AB's last chance -- no marked improvement no Saint uniform next year. |

No stats allowed? Aww, you didn't give the opposition a fair chance with that one.
But since there are no arguments to support him outside of stats, AB sucks, no stats needed for that one. :P |

what don't you call the thread "just trash Brooks". Brooks has a great arm, poor offensive game planning, poor defense, poor offensive line. There is going to be a huge difference this year...

This is the Dawning of the Age of the Aaron!!!
This is the year you'll see a determined Aaron Brooks lead the team deep into the playoffs... This is the year you'll see a 85% completion ratio from Aaron... This is the year you'll see a 4:1 TD:INT ratio from Aaron.. This is the year you'll see Aaron run for 700 yards... ... and don't be surprised if you see a fired-up Brooks pull Bentley from the grill and biatch him up when he misses a block, leaving some spit on Bentley's face... |

Can all of this change -- maybe -- but there are a lot of intangibles that most QBs would already have after being 4 years a starter == I am in a wait and see pattern |
