Like him missing the entire 2013 season on IR. Amazing how that critical piece of info is scoffed at like a French king. And if he is so good why does he keep getting passed around like a lot lizard but we will see. The only real fact is RB's over 30 have a horrible track record. Only a small sample has proved that incorrect.

2013 was his first season, and yes he spent it on IR. But, since 2014, his first on the active roster, he has played in 77 out of 80 possible games. As for his ability, nobody is saying he is the second coming of Deuce McAllister, but that he can fill the role required with ease. It is you that keeps trashing the guy for no reason whatsoever. You even put up $20 betting that he wouldn't appear in eight games this season. Talk about negative. He's played in all 32 games the past two seasons. And now he's going to magically have the lowest attendance of his now six year NFL career?

Oh, and he isn't "over 30". In fact he won't even turn 30 until January.

That is also standard operating procedure throughout the league. Injuries always occur and having a Rolodex of possible replacements is a must. Yea but the fact that half of those players were RBs is a sign that they are still not comfortable with what they have at the position . We only have 2 TE on the roster which pretty much makes it a given that they will have a third. We are banged up at LBr so that makes sense, there’s a need.
I have no reason to believe there’s not a need for another RB. I’m betting it’s a need because they aren’t comfortable with Murray.

You're bet is full of crap. You aren't comfortable with Murray because you always have to have someone to ***** about every season. Love you, Dude, but it IS how you roll. The most replaced position during the season are RB's and CB's. Of course you look at everyone possible. The more likely replacement would be for Washington at RB3.

And I think we already have TE3 on the roster in Taysom Hill. He saves a roster spot ... or two or more ... because of his versatility.

He's closer to 30 than 29. He will be over 30 if we make the playoffs and SB. The wheels start falling off at 29. The odds of him making the entire season are very slim. Same will happen to Ingram. Justice Hill and Gus are going to run him out of town before week 5. He'll get traded mid season.

Well he didn’t have to try out for the the jags he on the 53. We have a third rb that just got cold cocked in last preseason game and we let a legitimate rb go that went thru a whole training camp and now we’re bringing in try outs for the practice squad. I know there’s more to it so save the analytic bs. Ozigbo probably mumbled something back at Patton and he was out the door.

Same discussion and positions taken last year with Boston Scott ... OMG the entire coaching staff missed ... OMG he was picked up ... 2019 cut not in the game.

I think Ozigbo was just below Washington on the depth charts and coach went with the best all around fit and special teams contribution was the deciding factor.

Ozigbo definitely has it sorry it didn't work out ... playing to win THIS YEAR.

Yes Washington held his own against 3rd stringers but couldn’t catch a cold in Alaska and in Payton offense this is a head scratcher to me anyway and zigbo fumbled . Washington’s a pounder zigbo a slasher they both have there good with the bad and Washington’s a special team need. Zigbo needed another year to get in on that.
