Re: USA Today/Saints Wire: Saints work out former RB Marcus Murphy, 11 free agents in tryouts
Like him missing the entire 2013 season on IR. Amazing how that critical piece of info is scoffed at like a French king. And if he is so good why does he keep getting passed around like a lot lizard but we will see. The only real fact is RB's over 30 have a horrible track record. Only a small sample has proved that incorrect. |

You even put up $20 betting that he wouldn't appear in eight games this season. Talk about negative. He's played in all 32 games the past two seasons. And now he's going to magically have the lowest attendance of his now six year NFL career?
Oh, and he isn't "over 30". In fact he won't even turn 30 until January. |

I have no reason to believe there’s not a need for another RB. I’m betting it’s a need because they aren’t comfortable with Murray. |

And I think we already have TE3 on the roster in Taysom Hill. He saves a roster spot ... or two or more ... because of his versatility. |

He's closer to 30 than 29. He will be over 30 if we make the playoffs and SB. The wheels start falling off at 29. The odds of him making the entire season are very slim. Same will happen to Ingram. Justice Hill and Gus are going to run him out of town before week 5. He'll get traded mid season.

I know there’s more to it so save the analytic bs. Ozigbo probably mumbled something back at Patton and he was out the door. |

Same discussion and positions taken last year with Boston Scott ... OMG the entire coaching staff missed ... OMG he was picked up ... 2019 cut not in the game.
I think Ozigbo was just below Washington on the depth charts and coach went with the best all around fit and special teams contribution was the deciding factor. Ozigbo definitely has it sorry it didn't work out ... playing to win THIS YEAR. |
