We have a third rb that just got cold cocked in last preseason game and we let a legitimate rb go that went thru a whole training camp and now we’re bringing in try outs for the practice squad. I know there’s more to it so save the analytic bs. Ozigbo probably mumbled something back at Patton and he was out the door. |

EVERY NFL team does this immediately following the 53 man cut down. I would be more concerned if they DIDN'T bring in a slew of cut players to evaluate, regardless of position.

Yes. That could plausibly happen, but what is more likely is that we resign one of the veterans we let go after week one so we would only be obligated to paying them week by week. A veteran on the roster as of week one is guaranteed their whole year's salary whether they are on the roster or not.
