Of the first 5 games, it is by far the least important in terms of position in the NFC and NFC South standings. Still it is a national game on Monday night of opening week. A win would be the first step in proving them right.

How about we work out the bugs AND get the W?

An L week 1 against an AFC team might not impact our playoff chances but it certainly impacts confidence of new players. A L in week 1 also makes people look at changes that may not need to be made.

You are a chef and understand the difference between the incorrect menu and a menu executed incorrectly. Losses can trigger knee jerk changes for the worse.

The Saints are the better team. At home. On national TV. That's the type of game you have to win. If you can't show up for that one, I don't trust you to be there any other time it counts.
