The Saints are the better team. At home. On national TV. That's the type of game you have to win. If you can't show up for that one, I don't trust you to be there any other time it counts.

An L week 1 against an AFC team might not impact our playoff chances but it certainly impacts confidence of new players. A L in week 1 also makes people look at changes that may not need to be made. You are a chef and understand the difference between the incorrect menu and a menu executed incorrectly. Losses can trigger knee jerk changes for the worse. |

Personally, I had high hopes for him coming in to help our D-line. He's been limited or injured since he showed up. I haven't seen anything to stay enthusiastic about him and there is no word on the street. So, I'm hoping he's not a non factor because we are fairly thin without Onyamata and Rankins. Shy Tuttle for ROY.
