Re: Antonio Brown...should we?

|
Re: Antonio Brown...should we?
actually we should be making phone calls... and see behind the scenes because what is going to happen is that NE is going to step in and sign him.
Whats wrong with a one year deal? |

Let NE have that clown. I believe he wanted out of raiders trash team when he saw what it really looked like. So stomp ur feet and cause crap to get out and he succeeded. He with go to Boston and behave. That is all.

Re: Antonio Brown...should we?
He'd call Loomis a 'cracker' one time, and one time only, and that'd be that.
It's almost like the guy never wanted to be in Oakland and he was trying to get himself fired. |

I hear ya but Brown is a pre Madonna -dough bag but is good and he won’t be in my locker room ever ever ever. |
Re: Antonio Brown...should we?
Man hell naw.
This team has no time to be playing games with a malcontent. It's too hard trying to win games without distractions as it is. |

Re: Antonio Brown...should we?
Imagine that? Consequences for your actions? Doesn't Mayock realize he's dealing with an NFL PLAYER. Every other player on the team should just take a day off when they want to. That's how you build a "TEAM"

Re: Antonio Brown...should we?
Would it be allowed to make a lobotomy part of AB's physical?
|
Re: Antonio Brown...should we?
Yep.

Kind of Ironic that Mayocks last job was to evaluate talent and their biggest signing in his first offseason practices a few times and then near enough rips their team apart.

Re: Antonio Brown...should we?
According to Josiana Anderson of ESPN, Brown, who was upset with the fine given to him by the team, saw Mayock during practice and walked over to him to discuss the issue.
According to a team source, Mayock was trying to keep his cool and diffuse the situation from escalating any more. The GM being on the field is "policing?" Brown confronted Mayock over the "Fine Letter" |

If you and I have a beef with our employer its us, a manager, maybe HR... A beef with your employer in the NFL is a player, agent, NFLPA, Owner, GM, coach, the League... Some things are said in public, some things are said because the person is in public, and some things are behind closed doors. To pick a side in this is really a fools errand, no? All we really know is that a player found himself sideways with the league over a helmet and that's not a smart move. Just a soon not deal with someone that wins that sort of stupid prize. |
Re: Antonio Brown...should we?
AB had problems with management in Pittsburg...not his fault.
AB had problems with management in Oakland...not his fault. We should bring him in cause clearly these issues with management are not AB's fault. |
Re: Antonio Brown...should we?
Well on the one hand we’re trotting out Austin Carr...
Still a no from me. |
Re: Antonio Brown...should we?
The cause of his antics could be unfortunately brain damage from playing football. Somebody else was doing crazy stuff not so long ago. That person had one of the worse cases ever seen.
He needs a brain scan. He wasn't acting like this before. It's a recent thing to my knowledge. |
Re: Antonio Brown...should we?
Not Coach Payton's M.O. to bring in a AB type of player.
Not to mention if you can't get along with the Raiders that's usually the last stop for NFL Villains. |
Re: Antonio Brown...should we?
No, because Michael Thomas is our clear #1 and I don't think AB would accept being second to anyone.
Just don't want him in our division. He is, after all, THAT good. |

Thing is, Brown keeps incriminating himself with his output on social media. He's leaving an electronic trail of his own ridiculousness. Makes it awful easy for me to pick a side. |

Not while we have another diva WR on the team. Thomas is going to wind up almost as bad. Watch.

Re: Antonio Brown...should we?
All I know is the man is amazing on the field. A.J. Bouye, one of the best CB's said he is the best WR he ever had to cover. Many other CB's have said the same.
AB basically does not show his hands until the last split second. Very difficult to do. Moss was also good at keeping the "hands in the pocket" until it's time to snatch it. He also knows how to create space without getting penalized, another unique skill. Wish him the best. He has the ability to turn a weaker team into a contender by himself. |

Could be. There is a video of him breaking stupid Guinness Records that never existed like longest completed pass to a blindfolded receiver and longest pass caught between the legs. Very silly and not something a Pro QB should be goofing around with but meh....could be worse. |

Not sure if anyone listened to Sean Payton at today's press conference but he has no interest in signing AB.

Re: Antonio Brown...should we?
A thousand million times no. I used to love the guy, now I hope he's already played his last game as a professional. His attitude is completely undeserving of another chance. He would need a lot of counseling and time to realize what an idiot he is, and then would need to show that he is genuinely sorry and prepared to change before I could ever root for him again.
