Re: Teddy Bridgewater or Taysom Hill?
You guys know more about football than I do so maybe you can answer this. When a team has a great player that we all KNOW can do the job better than others and the whole fanbase is literally screaming PUT XXXXX IN YOU IDIOTS because it's so obvious, they still decide to leave in some underachiever that gives a subpar performance? It's the same thing as running the ball, getting shut down, then... running the ball, getting shut down, then... hey guys, let's run the ball again! It's a great idea! Then get shut down time after time.
No disrespect to Bridgewater but Hill is just explosive. It's a no-brainer to me. At the least, he would make for some really intense football. |

Bridgewater will get this week and at least 1/2 of the Dallas game. If he doesn't show any progress in this time, Hill will start second half of Cowgirl game.

Re: Teddy Bridgewater or Taysom Hill?
Hill would be 3-3. TB 0-6. The guy has the slowest release I’ve ever seen. It took him 3 days to go through his progressions. Trade TB for a hot pocket and roll on with hill

Re: Teddy Bridgewater or Taysom Hill?
Knowing your first 2 starts are a road game @ Seattle and a primetime home game against Dallas would be enough to keep most QBs awake at night.
Teddy passed up a chance to start in Miami to stay as a back-up in New Orleans; now is the time to show that he wants to be Brees' successor. I am hoping for the best but expecting the worse. |

Re: Teddy Bridgewater or Taysom Hill?
I'm voting to give Teddy a game or two and see how looks after a full week of practice as #1. Haven't had enough time to gauge his effectiveness yet. Yesterday was a mix of good and bad from him.

Re: Teddy Bridgewater or Taysom Hill?
Hill's strength is eliminated if he plays every down. For the best of the team a Bridgewater that has worked with the ones coupled with Hill coming in more often than with Brees will be our best approach.
That should keep us undefeated until Brees returns. 18-1 Baby! |

Re: Teddy Bridgewater or Taysom Hill?
I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen Hill go past his 1st read. Right now he’s mostly one read and take off running. He still needs a lot of work.
