You move the pocket and give him simpler reads like Lamar Jackson. Make the league have to adjust to something from the Saints they aren’t used to. RPO’s
and ****.

If we don't let Hill play IMO the season is over. We have to win at least 3 of the next 6 too have s shot and after yesterday I don't see that happening with unready teddy at the helm.

Teddy will have a full week of planning, preparation and film study with the 1's.

I know Taysom is a "fan favorite" but Sean isn't starting him at the QB position. Teddy will be that guy. He has been coached & has practiced to be the #2 for over a year now.

Taysom simply isn't ready to be a full time QB. Not the popular opinion but it's the truth.

Kiko actually came in briefly for Klein (injury) on yesterday.

I think he got 2 snaps.

How is that the “truth”? What logically brings you to that conclusion (truth=\= opinion).

This is the very first time I’ve felt like we should’ve taken Lamar Jackson when we traded up for Davenport.

Sean P has made it clear since he re signed in NO & subsequent camp, he will give Teddy every opportunity to succeed at QB. Not my words but his. Not an opinion.

Payton (go back and listen at his post Rams game report) has shown he will play the guys he thinks earned it and will help the team. When you see less of Taysom on special teams, WR etc, then we can come to the conclusion they are ready to give him a shot exclusively at QB.

Until then, Taysom is still your gadget/swiss army knife guy.

I get you, however I think that's heavily based on the short term success of Jackson and the fact that Davenport is a non factor at the minute.

I think Jackson will get sussed out sooner or later, the fact that Davenport is being outplayed by Hendrickson is worrying though. How did he look so promising last year and so invisible this year.

We could have gone 13-3 easily. The schedule gets soft after these first 4 games.

I thought 12-4 was possible. That was if we could beat Seattle (or LA). I had wins against Dallas, Jacksonville, and Arizona in this stretch. Now with Brees hurt, we could lose one of those (or all if TB can't hack it). I actually had us at 5-3 or 4-4(I know) after 8 weeks. I had us losing at home to Atlanta because Atlanta is playing us and Carolina b2b at home again, in which NO always seems to be the loss in that scenario. Then I had us going on a 7-0 run.

The concern on the latter record is our history after falling to 4-5. If history repeated itself we would get swept by TB. Then the purpose to take advantage of Carolina's losing goes out the door. It would go downhill fast. But we'd like to believe we have a good enough team that can fight itself out of a 4-5 conundrum this time and not let history repeat itself.

TB did not play well against Seattle in 2015 either game when he was with Minnesota. Of course Seattle had Sherman and Chancellor then. But if we can pull out this win at Seattle, that would be big because I'm not feeling a win against Dallas.

Was it Darren Woodson that was back in April or so talking about if the Cowboys went 3-0 they would have history or something on their side against us? Well, he might be right because Drew got hurt to allow it.
