This sucks. Roger is some where flying high right now.

Payton is not going down easy he don’t want to be remembered as a good coach because he had a QB. He’s going to coach these boys up this weekend.

It's his dream scenario! Now he just has to make sure the Rams keep winning so they can be blown out in the Super bowl.

I think Sean Payton will pull some real rabbits out of his hat, but I dont
think we'll do it on gadgetry alone... I think something will light a fire
under the D backfield, as the D Line isnt that far off.

Yes. 4-4 is doable

Honestly, 7-1 is doable. This roster is Super Bowl worthy with Drew Brees. With full time practice with the ones and a skill set specific game plan by Sean Payton the Saints are still good enough to beat anyone on our schedule. It appears that the locker room isn't taking the same defeatist attitude that some of the media and fan base are adopting. They are fired up and ready to rally.

Hell, the defensive line is pretty much getting it done, secondary has got to quit giving up chuck-'em pass plays downfield on 3rd and long...

But is that on the players or coaching/scheme?

I mean, when I saw Latt lined up 7 yards off Kupp on 3rd and short, we have no chance. That's just stealing. Easy completion.

Know the play you're talking about and I'd say the big plays have been due to both players and scheme; I'd further qualify that by saying players need to man up if they don't understand the scheme or there are flaws in the scheme...
