I'm definitely willing to give Teddy some time. Hasn't played a full game of regular season football for a very long time. It will take a bit of adjusting.

1. Harris is the best returnman we have had since Beerman. Sure he dropped one but stuff like that happens. His TD was glorious and exactly what the team needed to start the game.

2. Morsteads punting was stellar today. Pinning them inside the five twice is huge.

3. This might have been Davenports finest performance so far. Very active, stout against the run and bringing good pressure.

4. Alvin Kamara is something the truth. He carried the team today.

5. Teddy looked better today. Still a bit uneasy but better. He played as Cpt. Check down but doing so completed 70% of his passes.

6. Penalties, we have to clean this up. We can't have false starts, not being set when snapping the ball etc. It hurt the offense early in the game and helped the Seahawks late. If you try to make a tackle and happen to get hold of the facemask or push a little too much while trying to break free on a route I won't get mad but the pre-snap stuff drives me nuts.

7. McCoys athleticism on Kamaras screen TD was impressive. The big boy got down field in a hurry helping to clear the way.

8. Really good playcall on the TD to Thomas. Smart to throw a bubble screen which allows the guys in front to block for him.

9. The last TD the Seahawks scored kinda irked me. We picked it off twice to no avail because of penalties. 33-27 is allright but 33-21 would have looked even better.

10. I wanna send a gift to the Seahawks LB who nailed Carroll in the face.

11. The runblocking needs to get a whole lot better, QUICK.

EFFORT! You saw guys really fighting today. I believe its the type of game that can make or break a season. We lost one of the best QBs in the game last week which kinda deflated the team and we lost the game.
Today was a new game and the boys came out fighting and they kept fighting. Great team win!

So much for that September streak

Amazingly, the defeat was the Seahawks’ first at home in September during Pete Carroll’s 10 seasons as Seattle’s coach. Carroll’s Seahawks were 15-0 at home in September coming into Sunday. Carroll, it appeared, somehow got hit in the face by a football during pregame warmups, leaving the coach with a large cut on the left side of his nose. Yes, it was that kind of day. Did we mention Drew Brees didn’t even play for the Saints? The idea that the Seahawks could not only lose to a backup quarterback at home, but lose in such stupefying fashion has been almost unthinkable throughout the Carroll era.

You get an honorable mention for the honorable mention and exhibition of character. :bng:

I'll be here for everyone when Brees is gone and we start to remember what it was like to be a Saints fan before 2006. Brees has been a Saint for 14 years and for the last 10 years of that his name is mentioned consistently with only 2-3 others and one could argue top 10 in the history of the league...

Some times we do not want to know what we know because of what is implied after it is over... 'maybe she isn't that into you, she's just horny' :birthday:

Human nature can be difficult to understand at times, even our own. Does Teddy Bridgewater and Taysom Hill have the fans they do because they are that appealing or is it a hope that they end up being able to fill Drew's shoes? Both look the same, very different drivers.

1. Teddy does not make receivers better like Drew does, he is an average NFL QB. This is not a knock on Teddy average in the NFL for a QB is huge but he isn't going to make others around him better.

2. Kamara/Thomas/Morestead will carry this team. What you think about kickers needs to be put aside and you need to recognize that Morestead does more to give opponents bad field position that any other player or group on our team including our defense, and that's crucial.

3. To anyone that ever thought Drew was replaceable without a huge drop off. Sorry, its a cliff.

4. Our O-Line is good but can be very sloppy.

5. Our offense lacks a leader without Drew on the field. Helmets should have been slapped yesterday and none were.

6. Our defensive secondary lives and dies on luck, not skill.

7. In spite of all of the above we won, and that is what winners do. If you need stars to align to win you are average at best :bng:

No one gonna mention Davenport so I will ...

Pressure all day on Wilson (Houdini), 7 tackles and held his own against a very good LT. Totally disruptive but it won't show on the highlights because Wilson has the ability to escape like no other.

Can't wait to see how Marcus does against Tyrin Smith in the dome.

Great post!! Yes, there are areas that need improvement, but the whole Team played their hearts out today and won in a convincing manner. It was great to see!
