Re: Serious Question on Bridgewater
This is a progression event. More snaps, practice he gets better. He is a pro bowl QB for a reason. If he gets the time with the starters he will progress. If he hits on some air strikes, has smooth short passes and wins then what.
It is a legit question. If he wins out do you bench him with a snap of a finger. I do not think so. If you do then you are going off of historical data that has produced one SB win in 10 years. I would keep him in with a gradual Brees insert. |

Re: Serious Question on Bridgewater
I agree with the underlined portion and I understand what you are getting at Beast.
Teddy hadn't played in a meaningful game since 2015 and he did exactly what Sean/Carmichael called on Sunday. In order to be successful at this level, others (O line, WR, RB, TE ... Cook I'm talking to you) must do their job. Football is the ultimate team sport and all 11 guys have to put in work. "Fans" that still knock Teddy will see only what they wish to see on every play. IMO he has a long way to go but at least he took a step in the right direction vs Sunday and helped us get out of Seattle with a W. SP designed a game plan around TB and executed to perfection. Time to build on his first win and carry over that momentum against Dallas. |
