Serious Question on Bridgewater
Highly unlikely but, if he wins convincingly with Brees returning then what.
I think you have to leave him in. Hurts me to say it but I don't like trying to fix something that is not broken. Last night he was damn accurate and is only going to improve. Man was in the zone. I don't see Payton though rolling with him even if he turns into pure gold. Too much loyalty with Brees. |

Re: Serious Question on Bridgewater
Not even a question, Brees takes over automatically.
Teddy knows this is a chance to prove he still belongs whilst helping a team in need. But when our HOFer returns, its business as usual. Teddy managed the game yesterday, nothing more, nothing less. Seattle gave him the checkdowns so he took them, but he never truly tested them. Kamara was the one that made Teddy look good. Teddy averaged 1.8 yard per pass. |

Bench Brees?
I don't think so Tim. |

Re: Serious Question on Bridgewater
What if I told you in 5 weeks we won every game. What if I told you he had zero picks during that span and threw for over 300 yds a game averaging 3 TD's a game.
A lot of ifs, totally get that fact. Highly improbable but still probable nonetheless. Do we bench him is my question. I would not do it. No way. There is nothing to improve IMO. Roll with him and take emotions out of it. Hard for people to do but honestly, why bench him. |

Re: Serious Question on Bridgewater
He is a pro bowl QB. Not some scrub fill in like other backups. I think people are underestimating him. He will only get better with more reps.

Re: Serious Question on Bridgewater
Teddy managed not to lose it. I’ll put it that way.
But if you take away those crazy plays that don’t happen every game — hmmm I just don’t know if check downs are going to cut it when they start jamming everyone up |
