Deonte' Harris ...

As electric and dynamic as he's been, you must hold on to the football. IIRC, he's muffed 4 to date. You could see him losing confidence on a punt late in the game where he would usually field and go. I know coach loves what he brings but trust me, he'll bench him if he doesn't correct it.

Secure the rock first, then find your lane & take off.

Fumbling "issues" are correctable.

Piggy back on my own thoughts with Deonte ' ...

The best punter in the league (Morestead) will work with him on "fielding" those sky high kicks this week. Like Strief alluded to on the point after ... Harris didn't see a lot of end over end kicks until training camp. He'll get it sorted out.

At least I hope ...

He was unleashed today and was throwing down field constantly.
Teddy always seems to play within himself rather than trying to do things he is not confident in. That makes him boring to watch at times, but he generally doesn't make mistakes. I will take that all day long!

Re: Observations from Saints' win vs Bucs

The Key Matchups I identified PreGame...

RT Ryan Ramczyk vs OLB Shaquil Barrett, Barrett had Two (2) TOT, One (1) Solo Tak, Zero (0) Sacks; Ramczyk had one false start; Win --> Ramczyk

CB Marshon Lattimore vs WR Mike Evans, Evans had three (3) targets, zero (0) receptions, zero (0) Yds; while Lattimore did flub some zone coverage, he completely shut-out Evans; Win --> Lattimore

DC Dennis Allen vs HC Bruce Arians; Arians' is handicapped so long as he has Winston, that said Arians did a good job of mixing it up, though Allen dialed up some timely blitz/stunts; Advantage ->Allen

Re: Observations from Saints' win vs Bucs

- 4-1.
- Teddy 3-0 as the starter.
- The whole team showed up for 3 straight. No letdown. Coaches and players.
- Can't guard Mike.
- DLine flying around like a bunch of crazed dogs.
- Cooks making a difference.
- OLine getting it done.
- To all who made Evans a non-factor.
- T. Hill contributing.
- Ginn with a couple plays.

- The run game is just doing the bare minimum.
- Harris has to secure the ball.

^^^ this stat on Evans vs Latt ... I mean just last week he just shut down Amari (had almost 200 yards receiving on yesterday vs Packers) & now shut out and shut down Evans? Wow man ... just wow.

Don't everybody forget that Tampa has one of the worse defenses in the NFL and were HIGHLY OVERRATED when they beat the rams that obviously took them for granted.

Well, I withheld praise after the win vs the hated Cowboys because Cooper was playing a little gimp and then there's doubt about the Cowboys' innovativeness...

Marshon seems to be motivated vs individual matchups because he definitely had some lapses in zone coverage yesterday - DA will need to find ways to keep him focused in that regard...

Lattimore is no where near an island, shut-down half-the-field guy yet, as he's got to work on the total game...

But the individual athleticism, skills to shut down an elite WR was on proud display yesterday...
