Re: Observations from Saints' win vs Bucs
Positives:
-Our D line is a joy to watch. Haven't been able to say that since those great lines of the late 90's/early 2000's. -Mike Thomas is the best WR in the game. -Kamara isn't from this planet. -Lattimore has gotten his mojo back. -O line played it's best game of the season in pass protection. -Teddy played like the Teddy I believed we were getting when he was brought in. He's not Drew Brees, but he's a good QB and I'm comfortable with him back there. Negatives: -Still need someone else to step up in the passing game. Cook made a few plays, but needs to be consistent. -Harris needs to spend the entire week just fielding punts, nothing else. -Hate Dennis Allen's playcalling when we have more than a one possession lead late in the game. Wish he'd stay aggressive. Overall it was a great game. Very proud of the way the whole team has stepped up in Drew's absence. I think he probably sits out one more game and then we get him back in time for Chicago. I expect to be sitting at 6-1 by the end of that game. |

Just like Deion Sanders said on his show yesterday ... "Lattimore is a dawg all day, took away a lot of the playing field and is quickly approaching shutdown territory". |
