Re: Observations from the Saints win vs Jaguars
Yeah, we usually lose the games where we fail to score less 17 points. So far this season, we've won 2 low scoring affairs and I'm happy with that.

Re: Observations from the Saints win vs Jaguars
Teddy threw a lot of baaaddd passes today. Throws that could have kept drives alive and points on the board.

Re: Observations from the Saints win vs Jaguars
It looks like Teddy is playing not to lose. Whether thats on Payton or TB, we don't know.
Our defense is looking about as close to elite as you can get. Murray and Cook looked good today. |

Re: Observations from the Saints win vs Jaguars
I think if anybody was still harboring thoughts that TB was the heir apparent you just had a hard slap of reality today. The man was scared and throwing the ball all over with little control today. He could not read the defense and went to his safety valves MT AK and seldom looked any place else. He looked absolutely zoned out on the bench. Sure he did not lose the game but Murray and Cook and Thomas carried the offense today when it counted.

He didn't look scared. How do you know he couldn't read the defense? You already looked at your all-22? He looked at other options before checking down most of the game. He din't look "zoned out" on the bench. They showed him on the bench 1 time. He din't have a good game, but some of you guys... ![]() |

Re: Observations from the Saints win vs Jaguars
Off topic ... stats says the Saints rank 19th defensively??
The last 3 weeks I see an ELiTE defense that's hard to run and pass on. Just ask Gurley, Zeke, Fournette etc. |
