this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Kliff should have earned his stripes in the NFL as a Off coordinator ... first. He's not ready to be a HC....

Better coaching decisions by Kliff and the Cards send the Niners home with a L. By the time they play us, I see 2 or more losses. |

Re: 49ers are scary good
Arizona hiring Kingsbury was dumb. There is this faulty logic that is being used now in a league that a QB needs a coach just liked what they are used to doing in college in order to succeed and continue doing the things they do well. This isn't completely wrong, but you also need to bring in a coach that can expand what the QB does as well and teach the QB new ways to approach things. I've seen nothing from Kingsbury that shows that he knows how to teach QBs how to play in the NFL. Murray will not turn into a great QB by repeating what he did in college. NFL defenses are too flexible and will eventually adapt to shut him down. Murray needs to expand his knowledge base, learn things he's not completely comfortable with, while at the same time continue to do the things he's already proficient at. Arizona is just too eager to allow him to play with his niche skillset at QB. I'd love to see what someone like Payton could do with Murray. In a year or 2, he'd look like a completely different QB.

Re: 49ers are scary good
Kwon Alexander being out for the season is going to hurt the 49ers quite a bit.

Niners have a tough second half to the season. I think it will be between us and Rodgers for the #1 seed.

Kingbury had a losing record as a head coach in college. I don't think he has any business being an NFL head coach. Throw in Zac Taylor too. That guy looks completely clueless coaching the Bengals. |
