Re: 49ers are scary good
Niners upcoming schedule
Seahawks Cardinals Packers At Ravens At Saints I can see them going 3-0 in that home stretch. Seattle is not that good and are just barely winning games thanks to Russell Wilson pulling off magic. The Cards are a joke and Green Bay is the team we thought they were, overrated as hell. I look for Nick Bosa to punish Rodgers in that game. The Niners have long struggled with the Ravens going back to the Harbaugh years, then they come here where we have the advantage at home. After this, they end the season playing the Falcons, on the road vs Seattle and the Rams at home. Pretty easy cake walk schedule, even if they do lose in Seattle. They're going to finish 13-3 I think and the game with us will decide the #1 seed. As I said before; either Green Bay or SF are going to be one and done in the playoffs. I still lean more towards GB cause I don't think they're that good, but I still wouldn't be shocked if it's the Niners, especially if they get a 3rd match with the Rams or Seahawks in the post season. |

The Seahawks will be a very good test for the mighty Niners.
I don't believe they beat the Packers or Ravens. Then they come to face a real juggernaut in New Orleans. Brutal upcoming schedule. |

Re: 49ers are scary good
I don't believe in the Seahawks. They needed OT to barely get past the Jameis Winston led Bucs. Winston surprisingly had a good game too.
They have just been barely squeaking it out against crap teams they should be blowing out. The Niners on the other hand are pummeling these teams that the Seahawks struggle with, so I can see them handling Seattle with ease. I don't think they'll sweep them, but I expect next Monday to probably be a blow out in their favor. I believe they'll beat the Packers, cause GB is hands down the most overrated team this year. Like the Seahawks, they too have barely been squeaking it out against crappy teams and then got their clocks cleaned this past Sunday in L.A. The Niners defensive line will be a huge problem for them given how much Rodgers likes to give up sacks. I also am not really sold on the Packers defense, which allowed the Chargers to march up and down the field all game long on them. They've just played a slate of easy teams so far and bad QBs. They are right where they were last year, just with more sacks and turnovers. They still are struggling against the run, which will work in the Niners favor. I think Green Bay will finish 11-5 and it will be largely thanks to a 6-0 or 5-1 record vs the sorry NFC North, then they'll get embarrassed in the first round of the playoffs and go home. They are the real team who benefits from a crap division and it shows when they get their teeth kicked in during the post season. |

Re: 49ers are scary good
Can we finally just admit the 49ers ARE good?
And can we finally admit that Seattle really isn't that good? I seem to be the only person who gets this; the Seahawks were just barely beating crappy teams all thanks to Russell Wilson playing out of his mind with late game heroics. The same teams they have struggled with, the 49ers have blown out with ease. Seattle should've lost to the Bengals, Browns, Steelers and Rams. The Niners wiped the floor with all those teams except Pittsburgh. This is how you prepare for a hated divisional foe, you go out and punch them in the mouth. Seattle could easily be 3-6 and the Niners are showing the world why. We made a 1-7 Falcons team look like world beaters. I don't want to hear about how the Niners and Pats have easy schedules. They beat the crap out of those bad teams which is what a good team is supposed to do! Never quite understood the criticism of bashing a team for putting an ass whooping down on bad teams, that's their job. We finally play a bad team and get blown out. Not just blown out; the biggest upset of the year and it completely broke the FiveThirtyEight ELO model. This 49ers team scares the crap out of me. I hope we come prepared for them, cause this will not be an easy game. |
