I could be wrong but I don't believe Dez is in the Cards for NO.

BTW Baldy broke down a Saints run play where Latavius Murray had a very nice run. The key block was set by Krishawn which allowed such a substantial gain. He definitely helped his cause this past Sunday.

If anyone has access to that play, please post it. It's worth showing.

Re: Would A Deal For Dez Do It?

I find it hilarious that the Saints are so solid in 2019 that the fanbase is reduced to discussing the 3rd or 4th wide receiver position as if it's going to be the difference between going far in the playoffs or going home early.

CGM lives up to his twitter handle. D-coordinators game plan and scheme to limit Thomas' production, yet they fail week after week. That's because we have backs that catch the ball, and tight ends that catch the ball, and other wide receivers that catch the ball, and the Transformer (T. Hill) to catch the ball. As someone pointed out, Sunday pass catchers for the Saints who were not CGM had 23 catches for 260 yards and 2 TDs.

I just wonder with that type of production, why so many are being Chicken Little and thinking that the sky is falling because the Saints with their embarrasment of riches don't have a second #1 receiver on the roster.

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

Taysom is like a TE/WR mix. With Cook/Hill/Thomas/Kamara/Ginn we have a hell of a receiving coor.

Well we can’t forget the upgrade we desperately need for a backup to the backup long snapper on the practice squad.

Let's see. We're betting that Cook who has not been impressive will come back from injury and ball out. Tre' smith has been hit and miss. Mostly miss before his injury. I don't feel comfortable with either as the next man up.

This is exactly the false equivalency that I'm talking about. We're not waiting for anyone to "ball out". 3rd, 4th, and 5th receiving options generally do not "ball out".

Carr has been in nearly 200 snaps this season. Does anyone think that if he was not doing the job that CSP assigned to him that he would be that involved in the offense?

Receiving production for the Saints is CGM, backs, Ginn, and tight ends in just about that order. The only balling out that anyone needs to do is to catch the ball when they are targeted. And as I stated in my previous posts when 8 receivers not named CGM catch 23 balls for 260 yards in a game, then each of those guys are doing their job without balling out.

Receivers not named Michael and Ginn have 8 catches through 8 games.

How many targets is the real question. If they're not targeted much, there is the real answer.
