Re: Saints vs. Falcons Game Day Thread
and thomas looks like he is struggling for the entire drive. if he's hurt that would be bad.

Re: Saints vs. Falcons Game Day Thread
I didn't watch the game....but even with us winning I felt we needed another WR. Wish we would have traded for someone or something MT n AK isn't going to work year and year out we already be been thru this. Another weapon/threat is IMPERATIVE for the Saints success

Re: Saints vs. Falcons Game Day Thread
This game showed what many of us have said again and again. The Saints need another receiver. Thomas can't do it all. Smith is good but isn't there yet, Ginn is decent but isn't always reliable, Cook is coming along, but you can't go to him every time. I get not trading for A.J. Green, but there were some receivers there that Mickey could have traded for. I hope that he and Sean will do something about this. Dez Bryant says he's coming back. The Saints should invite him in and see what he's got. If we don't get another receiver, then we can't go far.

Re: Saints vs. Falcons Game Day Thread
Terrell Owens could easily be number 2 receiver on this team.

Re: Saints vs. Falcons Game Day Thread
Well, Ginn is in his last year, so it's interesting to see what they'll do in the offseason with the WRs.
I think that we just have to hope that Smith and Ginn can step up their game, and maybe use the RBs as slot receivers more than they have while using Harris as the deep threat. |
