I'm surprised how little chatter Demario Davis is getting, these last couple of games he seems like he's every where making key plays.

It's so hard to know what is going on, the NFL cameras rarely ever give a look at the receivers routes to know what the dilemma with TreQuan is. Hopefully this sophomore slump ends soon.

He just isn't a good fit for Drew, he is a speedy guy that can get down field. Brees doesn't throw the ball more than 20yds so he isn't of any use. MT is great because he runs a great slant and is physical off the ball, it's perfect for the short passer that drew is.

I was shouting out his glories the second we picked him up.

The fact that he has dropped critical passes directly into his hands has to be blamed on Brees as well, right.

You understand our team is built different now, correct? Our game is ball control with the run and short quick passes so we control the clock. We have a defense that can stop teams now. Our philosophy has changed. Nothing is stopping him from being a lance/ willie type rec for us. Maybe he just cant get open

I started saying a few weeks ago he is the best free agent acquisition since Brees. Dudes a stud. He’s playing elite. Great guy too. When that player got injured on that play he was involved in he immediately knelt, put his hand on the player and said a prayer. This is what we have as opposed to helmet swinging fools.
That’s sportsmanship right there.
Not a nice guy between the whistles though.

In a strange way I think Teddy Bridgewater set the tone for how this offense is going to run at this point in Brees career . It forced him to run it that way with Teddy. Who knows how long Payton would have tried to force our offense of 2-3 years ago into place if he hadn’t changed the game plan for Teddy. The loss in Atlanta just solidified it. This is our identity.

We definitely need another wide receiver, but SP determined this is who we are. And I think some of it has to do with protecting our oline a bit

A rookie DE for the Raiders (Maxx Crosby) just had more sacks today than Marcus Davenport has all season... and he was a 4th round pick.

I know, I know, but Davenport does other things to effect the play.
