Re: Observations from the Saints win over the Bucs
A few years back I started saying that Brees could play well into his 40’s if the Saints would make it a priority to sign 2 pro bowl to elite receivers. He extended average receivers careers by making them look like all stars and it was time to start signing/drafting receivers who could extend Brees career. Instead we have Peat, Davenport, wasted draft capitol and crappy FA acquisitions. So here we are.
**** is about to get real from here on out minus the payback we dish out on Atlanta. |

Re: Observations from the Saints win over the Bucs
Mike is the best in the game. Only 50 catches remain for the record. Ain’t gonna leave a lot of room for others to get theirs. Sean and Brees will make sure of that. And I don’t think it’s necessarily a good thing. Mike is gonna take a lot of hits. He’s came up gimpy on some catches the last two weeks.

But have that same energy come playoff time when Michael gets blanketed/harassed/removed from the game plan & you have to rely on "other" guys to make a play on a crucial drive. BTW, keep your records this team wants another Lombardi. |

They are picky but technically correct. Cooks is big and strong enought to be able to man handle small safties the right way. He needs to move his hand 4 inches and its not a problem. |
