Cincy Bengaloos have had two guys progress throughout the season (not named AJ Green/Tyler Boyd) and catch 32 balls a piece with horrendous QB play, yet here we are 9+ weeks into the season we are talking about our #2, 3 WR situation.

Drew drops back. Wants to take a shot. Nobody is open. He 'settles' for something less, if anything.

That's becoming far too typical from one play to the next. I swear even my old could get open once or twice. Jeesh. With the lone exception of MT, we flat out suck at WR.

I mean if you want to measure if you suck at something, making a comparison to the Bengals is a good place to start. Yikes, that is an eye-opener.

Does it? Didn't two other receivers catch TD's yesterday, we're they not open? Mike is getting open, setting records, we're winning, its not a bad thing. The sky is not falling.

If you don't truly believe the Saints need another legit #2, 3 WR ... I'm not sure what else to tell you.

But have that same energy come playoff time when Michael gets blanketed/harassed/removed from the game plan & you have to rely on "other" guys to make a play on a crucial drive.

BTW, keep your records this team wants another Lombardi.

Frankly I'm tired of this argument. The point is moot, they are not bringing in new receivers, unless we get some nasty injuries. It's too late to trade, and the market place doesn't have much on the shelves. People can doubt the legitimacy of our WR corps from here till the cows come home but I saw Cook make some great catches (not good, great) and Ginn produced when called upon. Records, wins, Super Bowls, I'll take em all.

If you're tired of it, then don't debate. This is a forum to discuss football good and bad. I'm not going to sit back and agree with everything a poster says on the team.

We have Butler and Lil'Jordan unsigned on the sidelines if we need to. Surprised Butler wasn't signed to the practice squad. And we use the RB as a WR. Kamara's hands are golden.
