Peat is going to get paid. And likely it's not going to be by the Saints. As sad as I am to say it, Peat's career with the Saints is likely over.

Business is business, but the news is not all bad:
Armstead signed thru 2022, Warford '21, Easton '23, McCoy '23, Clapp '22, Ram '22. The line should remain intact.
Tom is a RFA in 2020

Yeah, but I'd like to upgrade Warford with a truly elite guard, something along the lines of a Quenton Nelson Type, that way we won't have to rely on our next quarterback to use the pass to open the run, but vice-versa...

Run the ball, eat clock, keep the ball, play 3 and out, or less, defense - Absolute Winning Football...

Re: Eaton Top Rated This Weekend

Let Peat go get paid elsewhere.

Injury aside, very underwhelming player for where he was selected in the draft. His body of work has been average, still has bad hand placement and slow feet. At his size he should be winning more one on one battles and not being thrown around like a rag doll.

Go back and watch his ATL tape pre injury. Lower tier players were giving him the business. Just like last year, he was the 5th best lineman on the Saints team.

He is what he is.

Since Sean P likes "THEE" Ohio State players so much ... worth taking a flyer on in the 2020 draft.

THAYOR MUNFORD - projected to go 2nd - 4th round.
JONAH JACKSON - 3-5 rounds.

^^^ Keep an eye on these two if LSU eventually faces OSU in the BCS title game. They have the ability to move a pile.

Rugs, Ramczyk as a rookie, in his first NFL game, against the Vikings, then considered the best pass rush in the NFL in 2017, Ramczyk earned a near 90 PFF grade...

What we need, and would be easier to find, is a Right Tackle reserve, let Ramczyk take over the LT spot not if, but when Armstead goes down, again...

Was in Team Peat's camp until Smash told us he was clearly out-of-shape at the Tulane Yulman Open Practice - Peat lost me at that point...

Andrus had played well despite some significant injuries, but a compensated professional athelete out-of-shape, that's bullshinski, not with the resources available to the NFL players...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Smash, as a guard or tackle? Don't see a quarterback not at least 6' 3" seeing over that mountain of a man, assuming he has enough speed to pair with his size to keep up with NFL linemen...
