The numbers show it. Its not even up for debate. The only question, I suppose, is whether or not it is intentional. Personally I see what the courts would call a pattern of behavior that spans years and counting. The refs aren't idiots. They are actually very good at what they do. And, in my opinion, they're doing exactly what Roger is telling them to do. |

Re: Is It Clear?
I find the interesting thing about
https://www.nflpenalties.com/team/ne...ints?year=2019 Their is no consistency, however one has to watch the games to really fully understand whats going on. Although aside from the Falcons, seems they less flag happy against bad teams. Its interesting anytime I see GB, Pitt, Minn, and Cinci round up the top 4 of this chart, its been common for a few seasons, we know officiating has big influence in NFC North matchups, why GB sets at 8-3 when they should not be no where near that record. Im thinking some of the officiating problems is combination of betting and bias to wanting certain teams in a division to win it. Like Falcons getting so many penalties this year and few called against them sounds like they trying to satisfy bookies for big money in upsets as that team has the potential to do such after starting off so bad. Cinci as well because its hard to go 0-16 and some point the officiating is going to do enough for them to win, big money for bettors on Cinci. One thing becoming common now is I dread facing any team out of California in fear of officiating controlling the outcome. |

Bump ...
https://saintswire.usatoday.com/2019...l-officiating/ Just my opinion here but the Saints will have to leave no doubt on Sunday and take the game AWAY from refs. Did you notice how very little the Failures were flagged on Thanksgiving day ... even with all of those pressures and sacks we had ?? Boy o boy. |
