ESPN senior writer says Saints are a 'wild card' if Cam Newton tests free agency

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I couldn’t care less how he dresses or why I just hate his whining and tantrums. He’s a little ***** who didn’t get enough positive attention from daddy. His attitude sucks and he’s just not all that great. We have ...

His attitude sucks and he’s just not all that great. We have just as good here between TB and Taysom without the baggage. Either one is a perfect fit for the way the NFL is headed. I would rather tank for picks than bring him in.

No way in hell I pick him over Brees but when he is healthy he is a good player. Its just hard because of where he is at and im so used to hating him.

Never once have I seen Drew laugh, sulk, cover his head in a towel after he made a turnover. It is not always about physical talent, but leadership is a huge part. None of our QB's dress like the Mad Hatter for a presser, especially not after a loss.

If he were in his prime, I'd take him in a heartbeat. But he's not in his prime anymore. I wouldn't risk a huge multi year contract on his health.

No.
Bree’s will end his career here as he has personal goals of records and things.
I only wish is for him not to stay pass his expiration date.

Saints have Bridgewater as 2nd qb who stepped up in five straight games and brought the team five Ws. He did what he was paid to do. He got the confidence of the team.

3rd about is “Jack “ Hill who does this and that and is a Jack of all trades.
I don’t think he has done placekicking yet, but hey, there is still time, lol.

CamNewton is used to be a starter and won’t go anywhere as 2nd.
This alone cancels him out here. You only have a record breaking, SB winning, and more 1 st qb
You have a proven , quiet too , 2nd qb.

Also, by the time Brees retires, Bridgewater and Hill won’t be here and Newton will be gone from NFL.

Pardon me for repeating myself here.
Different thread, but same subject.
