The list of what is not the problem in Dallas is much longer than the list of what is that just has Jerry's name on it. Romo was never the problem in Dallas, hes now a ****ing problem on my TV... his voice is like a herd of cats on a chalk board and he doesn't know that TV is not radio and shutting his cock holster once in a while would be appreciated. :bng:

Totally agree on the skill sets and its not his talent that holds Cam back. Cam is a slave to his emotions and while there are times that being that works to his advantage Sean Payton is a lot like Yoda and isnt willing to work with just anyone.

Sean has a type and its not Cam Newton.. None of these guys are self serving show boats that want spotlight.

Sean is the same way with receivers.. Jimmy was a spectacle after a TD with the dunk but put a mic in front of him and he is subdued and articulate. Colston, Thomas, Kamara, Ingram... none are flamboyant publicly.

Here is one I heard come out of Cam's mouth: "You look good, you play good; you play good, they pay good" I've so much to say about that statement lol

You may not realize it but Cam is often injured... Since 2016 he has only had one 16 game season. I will give him this though, when he is healthy the Panthers record is a whole lot better than if he doesn't start 16...

Never once have I seen Drew laugh, sulk, cover his head in a towel after he made a turnover. It is not always about physical talent, but leadership is a huge part. None of our QB's dress like the Mad Hatter for a presser, especially not after a loss.

I think Romo's THE best analyst on TV. I get the voice thing, but his commentary is right on, and 9 out of 10 times he predicts the play before they even run it. He's a pretty smart guy.

Honestly, I feel like Thomas, Kamara, and Ingram are similar to Cam Newton personality wise. Sean Payton just has great control of his locker room. This is more about my trust in Sean Payton than it is my belief in the attitude of Cam Newton. I think your point is the most valid in regards to injury concerns. I think the media has made a bigger deal about his “leadership” than it really is. I’ve never really heard teammates or ex-teammates speak bad of Newton, and when they went to the Super Bowl it was because he led them there. He’s a proven winner at every level.

Cam Newton has said some things that have made me lose respect for him as a person. However, I can’t act like I wouldn’t be willing to take a chance on him as a football player, especially if Teddy decides he wants to be somewhere else. I believe the future is now and quarterbacks who can move are the pathway.

What else does most of those QB's have in common? Injuries. I expect that all of these QB's will have much shorter careers than the more conventional QB types.

The only ones that are really injury prone are Wentz and Watson. The Brees, Brady’s, and Manning’s who play until they’re 40 aren’t the norm anyway. I’ll take a good 5-8 years of high level play. That’s one big contract and you move on.

The only reason guys playing that long aren't "the norm" is because elite QB's aren't the norm. Guys just aren't usually good enough to be in the league that long. But look at all of those who ARE (or were, for those who are retired) elite pocket passers. Brees, Brady, Rodgers, Rivers, Manning, Favre, Marino, Elway, Montana.

Those guys all played, or have been playing for a long time. The idea that you're going to go all in with a running QB for 5-8 year and move on is kind of insane. As hard as it is to find a good QB, why would you think you can find another every 5-8 years? It's better to just invest in your defense and sign game managers like Alex Smith, than to think you can bring in a franchise QB that often.
