this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I wanted G in the 1st but I’m starting to think that this FO goes G in free agency and picks a WR in the 1st round not only is this class deep but it would give Brees another option ...

I wanted G in the 1st but I’m starting to think that this FO goes G in free agency and picks a WR in the 1st round not only is this class deep but it would give Brees another option besides Thomas which is something this offense is severely lacking

I don’t think there really are any first round guards this year.

Re: 2020 NFL Draft: Saints Prospects
Just makes sense, his value would be high at this moment and could net us a high pick. I personally like Kamara but running between the T is not his strong suit. Brees will do the usual dink and dunk with Kamara there. I would rather see a power run game opening up play action. D's know what there getting when Kamaras on the field lining up behind Brees. Brees isn't a spring chicken anymore. If Brees was more mobile I wouldn't look at trading Kamara but he's not.

Wow RB Johnathan Taylor with the official 4.39 forty. Back to back 2k yard seasons at Wisconsin. Now that’s a workhorse with breakaway speed too.

Actually this class is very deep at G this year; particularly LG/RT swing types...
