He's a Top 7 pick and that'd be a loooong way up the draft. Then again, Sean P isn't without precedent (Davenport), and just guaranteed $33mil to LG Andrus Peat... |

Re: 2020 NFL Draft: Saints Prospects
Our pick seems like a prime spot to go CB. We have no depth there. If I had to guess I’d say right now we should lean toward picking a boundary CB.

With all of the QB’s, O-Linemen and WR’s probably going earlier in the first round, we’ll likely have our pick of any CB not named Okudah or CJ Henderson. |

Would we not take AJ Epenesa if he's there at 24? Javon Kinlaw looks like he's gone in the Top 15. So Edge Rusher has to be a consideration as well... As deep as CB2 and WRZ are in this draft, we need to call teams with two R2s (e.g. IND, CHI, MIA) and move back get those twos; the WR we take in the second round could have a first round grade, just saying... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: 2020 NFL Draft: Saints Prospects
I personally wouldn’t take Epenesa at 24. He’s much better suited to play on the inside than on the edge. He has no bend whatsoever and no burst.

Not to high jack Draft talk but I want Marcus Davenport to work out in NO. The talent/ability is there but ...
Those injuries though. He can't help us in late January if he's wearing street clothes. |

Re: 2020 NFL Draft: Saints Prospects
And maybe part of getting him to success is bringing in another edge rusher to take the load off until he can build his core strength to take the NFL punishment; that's why I brought it up as well...
