Initial reports coming out of camp was that rookie CB Keith Washington was turning heads & making plays, picking off Winston/Taysom/Brees etc.

Why not promote from within?

Crawley's confidence as a boundary corner left in 2017 & subsequent benching in favor of JJ. I don't see how "familiarity with the system" negates the fact that he isn't very good on an island.

Are we actually coaching up these undrafted guys on the practice squad or simply trying to hide them from other suitors?

Give the young guy a chance coach !

AKA Mr. Gingerbread man.

Regardless of what the front office gave up to get him, I'll be curious to see how long Sean Payton puts up with his shenanigans of not practicing due to various injuries (today it's his toe :rolleyes:). He's rarely on the practice field, much less helping us terrorize QB's on Sunday's.

Fast forward to 2021, I'd look to unleash this kid.

Saints need help at DE opposite Cam J.
