Titans make sense for Clowney. Potential playoff team plus $15 MM to spend.

And the Vrabel connection from Houston. I’m almost certain he’s a Titan

Also, the $175 million cap figure is the floor with no fans in the seats. It is likely to be closer to $190 million.

When this tweet was first posted one of the Saints reporters, think it may have been Underhill, replied something along the lines of "you obviously don't know Loomis." LOL!

According to my friend New Orleans is where he wants to be it’s just a numbers game now.

Something else to consider concerning the cap. You can kill two birds with one stone by restructuring/extending players you want to keep for the long term while managing in what years those numbers will have the greatest impact on the cap. The same can be done with straight extensions. Player X's biggest cap years could be two and four and Player Y's could be three and five. Roster bonuses in those future years also give more flexibility.

If we do indeed free up the 2020 cap to pick up Clowney I would imagine Loomis would address future cap in those restructures at the same time.

They may have his numbers worked out already. They may now be working with some of our veteran players to restructure for that space.
