Janoris Jenkins hopes to stay in New Orleans

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I would honestly like to see both Jenkins and Apple stick around. I know a lot of people are down on Apple right now, but he was actually very good until he started getting banged up physically....

I agree. And he is still young and has room to improve.

I like this. A lot of people don’t realize how much your technique suffers when you have lower body injuries when playing CB. You start relying on other things which lead to penalties. If Loomis can figure out how to make it work we would be in pretty good shape at CB.

On a side note, I said a year or two ago that I would like to see PJ Williams move to safety. He has a good understanding of what the defense is doing but is a little too grabby at time when in the slot. The time he spent playing there this season was pretty good. I wish they would have done more of that during the season.
