His name wasn't called much so that's a good thing.

Re: 2020 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook

I didn’t want to start a new thread about this so since it’s personnel-related I figured I’d post it here... apparently the Failclowns have interest in interviewing our own Terry Fontenot (Assistant GM of Pro Personnel) for their GM opening.

This is very interesting because under the NFL’s new minority coaching initiative if Fontenot were hired we would get two compensatory 3rd round picks. From NFL.com:

“Teams that lose a minority coach or executive to a head coach or general manager job with another team will receive a third-round compensatory pick for two consecutive years, per Pelissero. If a team loses a minority coach and an executive to HC and GM roles, that club will receive a third-round compensatory pick for three consecutive years.”

"When you get into one of these groups, there's only a couple of ways you can get out. One, is death; the other, is mental institutions."

Since it’s a comp pick I’m guessing it’s tacked on at the end of the round.

Yep.

According to a recent tweet from Underhill, Terry is scheduled to interview for the job.

Re: 2020 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook

Many of the Failclowns fans on their forums seem to want Riddick as their GM, although I don't exactly understand why...

I'm just glad nobody seems interested in Jeff Ireland - I hope the Miami tenure soured him in most franchise's eyes.
