Just bring in a safety sitting at home. He has to play better than what we have. Last week we played well but I'm not hanging my Lombardi hopes on our secondary just yet.

Earl Thomas - if he's in shape, has anything left in the tank, and values a Lombardi; in the very least, I'd be curious if he could mentor Mr. Marcus any better than Malcolm Jenkins or Dennis Allen has...

I'll be honest, Marcus Williams scares the hell out of me on the back end too.

You're right though … had a decent game vs a QB that can't move. Need to see more consistency on the back end, specifically once post season arrives.

I think he bounces back on tomorrow. Remember he was destroying the Niners right up until the cheap shot in the end zone that ruined his night last year.
