Re: Emmanuel Sanders
That's what happens when you start overpaying in trades in the draft - after Green Bay fleeced us for Davenport (can't blame them), Payton is now the fat pig everyone wants to bleed...

Re: Emmanuel Sanders
Cost S.F. two valuable draft choices. They gambled and lost. Jimmy G had him on that post pattern and whiffed!

Re: Emmanuel Sanders
Some of rugby's best players are over 30. There is an Old Boys league and you have to be 35 to play in. Those guys just seem to get better with age. Sanders reminds me of a good Old Boy. He's savvy and smooth. I can't wait to see him on the field.
Also, USA Rugby will not assign referee's to our matches so it's done for the year and has been for over a month. I'm sitting home locked down eating comfort foods, not going to the gym, or running on weekends, and drinking. It's killing my waist line. ![]() |

Re: Emmanuel Sanders
He'll put up Jake Reed kind of numbers for us. 3-500 yds maybe. He's going to get hurt I know that much due to history and age. I honestly would not be surprised if he's way down on the depth chart. He's still a good pickup though. We don't need superstars, just someone to get open and grab some tough ones now and then.

He excels across the middle and intermediate routes which is what drew throws best now. ![]()
I believe that you will be pleasantly surprised with his production. ![]() |

Re: Emmanuel Sanders
Meredith was coming off an injury. Sanders is coming off a season in which he started 19 of twenty games and played in all twenty. He is one of FIVE WR's in the NFL to have been targeted 500+ times and had fewer than 20 drops over the past five seasons. That puts him in the same company as Michael Thomas and Antonio Brown. He is anything but a Cam Meredith 2.0.
