And because people don't generally freak out about the flu, because we're used to it, there is likely a HIGH percentage of people who've gotten the flu, and never went to the doctor to report it. I've had it twice, both times I ended up relapsing, and I didn't go to the hospital either time. But with coronavirus hysteria? People get hot flashes and they are running to the doctor. You just can't quantify these things without being able to take into account the massive contextual differences. |
