Push comes to shove, Drew retires after this year. Saints give Taysom the job for a year and see how he handles it. If he is terrible you just rebuild.

Stevens, like Taysom, was a terrible college passer. Stevens, UNLIKE Taysom, is NOT a great athlete. He's a "good" athlete. Nowhere near Taysom's level with the ball in his hands. So IF Sean wants to do something else, he doesn't have the right QB to do it. Period. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Sean used to be a trendsetter like 10 years ago. McVay and Pederson took over that mantle years ago.
