The heir apparent to Brees will be selected in tonight's draft.

I think ...

We still have the offense to keep pace with high scoring teams. We need to shore up the LB position to help with the teams that have the best TE tandems. Tampa could be one of those teams.

That N. Texas kid? First round QB looks out of reach at 24. But do we really need a first round QB, however?

Mason Fine? A lot of scouts think he will go undrafted. He slings it around but he's like 5'10.

Drew Brees and Russell Wilson say hello. Maybe sign him as an UDFA to back up Taysom and Drew. Former Ohio St QB Garrett does not seem to be able to break through at this level.

24). NEW ORLEANS SAINTS: A.J. TERRELL, CB

The Saints will look to spice up the competition at cornerback by selecting A.J. Terrell. The biggest outlier on the team could be the cornerback position. Janoris Jenkins hasn’t been the most consistent cornerback in the league and adding Terrell could jolt the position.

Not crazy about this pick. Plenty of better talent on LSU's roster, like Patrick Queen, Justin Jefferson, or Kristian Fulton.

I don't care that its over 3 days, particularly now, what else are you going to pay attention to that's sports related? At least we get 3 days of football talk, then we can all go back to the BS covid stuff.

That would be a wasted pick IMO...

Not that he won't be a good player, but we need guys that are going to make an impact right now. Chances are if we draft a CB he won't see the field but for 10% of the time. We have two solid CBs and 3 Safeties that will be on the field in nickle situations.

I want a DT or LB in the 1st round.
