this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Trautman can catch but he was like 12 feet taller than anyone else in the field. There will be a learning process in the NFL. I'm sure he will contribute the first year but the speed of the game takes ...

Trautman can catch but he was like 12 feet taller than anyone else in the field. There will be a learning process in the NFL. I'm sure he will contribute the first year but the speed of the game takes time even for div.1 powerhouses. Probably year 2 will start coming into his own. But he isn't going to be our number 1 option this year at TE anyway and that will help him too
