Roger Godhell is just a petty man.....this was set up to fail. We know this to be true and as was mentioned earlier the problem still exists. Mission accomplished!

I'm reminded of the quote from The Wizard of Oz. "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain".

Correct analogy but the "MAN" behind the curtain are the OWNERS manipulating their "FALL GUY" Goodell. The ultimate goal is making $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ billions of them. Split 32 ways. If turning the NFL into the WWE accomplishes that, the cure for the "Blatantly missed P.I" is take $2,000,000 every 4 hours till it feels better. Goodell gets over $40 million a year to be "THE WIZARD"

Goodell has made significant early progress on a new collective bargaining agreement with the NFLPA that could be wrapped up in the next few weeks, television ratings have been back on the rise and there is immense excitement among owners about how robust the next round of broadcast contracts will be. There has been no serious movement towards a succession plan if in fact this is Goodell's final contract at the helm, and high-ranking sources with several clubs believe that there could be a push to retain him deeper into the future.
