That's cold 76' .

Back in the day, my dad purchased a 'pre owned' 1974 MB 450 SLC from a retired doctor in the Hammond area. We traveled a lot by car in the late 80's in that machine. AC blew ice cold, the natuzzi leather was soft/comfortable & it ran as smooth as butter on the highway. It's even been to Windsdor Canada twice. Not one mechanical issue. By the time it was on it's last leg, Dad had well over 225k on the odometer. Bullet proof German engineering.

But yeah, I hear you. Mercedes Benz simply don't engineer their automobiles like they used to.

The Amazon Superdome.
Why?
Only because Amazon is big in meaning.
Amazon Rainforest

Bezos, like him or not or like Amazon or not?
So what!

For laughs....
The Cocoa-Cola Superdome

The GEICO Superdome

The All State Superdome. I am with GEICO, but I like how All State Superdome sounds.

The China Superdome because China needs to be bankrupted and it sounds like the movie, The China Syndrome.

The CNN FoxNews Superdome
ehhh?

Seriously, some big company has to do it. It could end up Walmart Superdome.
The end of times. That would be the ultimate , UGH!!!
Lawd hep' mer'c.

Like we all have said, ummm it is The Dome. The Superdome.
The Dome.
The place where you saw concerts and the Ringling Bros Circus.
Yearly Bayou Classic and Sugarbowl.
Superbowls.
Where parades ended and you , your school that marched in the parades boarded your high school bus back to school.
Ok, going back in time. off subject. Anybody remember The Rivergate. Parades ended there too.

We shall see what company picks it up.

Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, I'd be ok with any of those. I can only hope it would also propel one of those companies to open a branch and provide some much needed tech industry jobs in the area.

I have never been a fan of branding buildings, just feels cheesy. It is the Super Dome, if you absolutely have to change the name then Mega-Super Dome is sufficient.

I agree but we know its not just about the name - it's about the money that backs up the name. I just hope they dont partner w a company like Massengill or Pepto Bismol.
