here were quite excited about Houston's XFL Team, and its players seemed very grateful, before our state succumbed to The Hoax.

I remember bubble gum cards with football players pictures, stats, history, and also on the back- Their off-season occupation.
I wont be disappointed, Guido. Nor will I be elated, if my predictions come true.
I wont be anything. Thats my whole point. I HAVE no emotional investment in this anymore. If they stay rich, if they crash, if the Saints with the SB, if Atlanta does, if they put on shiny pants and sing Pirates of Penzance.
I wont care.
My emotional investment, which motivated me to drive 6 hours each way, win or lose- They threw it out the window. If anyone else feels me, ok.
If im the only one, still ok.
I'm looking forward to the fun new stuff I'll be doing this Fall.
And having more money.
If you wish to stop watching all NFL then you have that right. But just understand that you are only doing it for you. It is not going to affect the bottom line of the league one bit, nor the viewing pleasure of all of the rest of the fans.

My Great Grandma (we called her "Funny Grandma" and she liked that) used to tell us not to throw the baby out with the bathwater. I asked her what she meant one day. She said think about what you are giving up and why. She said you may be mad about something your friend did, but think about what they really mean to you and if it is important enough to stop being friends over that act. Not the exact words, but that's what I got out of it some 55 years ago or so.

If there is no 2020 season, what will determine draft order? Will there just be a giant lottery with complete randomization?

Do you guys realize how many players need game checks to survive?

well yeah... once you fall behind in your child support and your payments on your luxury vehicles, jewelry, high dollar suits and shoes, and paying out your entourage, your stripper ho's, making it rain, blingin wit your homies, and your gold teeth, the struggle becomes more real.

I see we aren't even trying to hide the bigotry.

The recommended emergency fun allocation is 3-6 months of living expenses. What a persons living expenses are is irrelevant as long as they set aside 3-6 months of it. If a person doesn't have that it doesn't matter if they spent it on your list or say bass boats, White Claw, golf clubs, Botox injections, hair coloring, ass implants, Britney Spears tickets you know... all the Ken and Barbie sh1t white people blow money on.

Within 30 days of furloughs and paycuts, more than 80% of my office complex were borrowing against their 401Ks.

Burning money is not a racial thing, its a humanity thing, its a society thing that isnt resident with in any one culture. Know why the stimulus checks didn't stimulate the economy? Because 80% or more went to Visa, Mastercard, or Discover as interest.

It doesn't matter how much you make, for most people, your costs eventually rise to parallel your income.

It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see. ~ Henry David Thoreau

Is that what you want? To be surrounded by tens of thousands of white millennial's crawling out of their mothers basement to pretend to care out of guilt or their need to be part of a collective because they weren't accepted by the cub they wanted in High School and will forever be bitter and angry about it.

Id rather everyone stop pretending so we can see where we truly are.

They discussed this very subject on NFL Radio. The discussion came about when Malcolm Jenkins' interview was mentioned where he said he wouldn't want to play unless he felt safe. They said he was among the handful of NFL players that have been able to place themselves in a financial position to be able to forgo game checks. I believe it was the former Tampa Bay GM, Mark Dominik, that said unfortunately almost all the others players live up to those checks. He said the average career of an NFL player is only three years and while they may be getting paid $500K or $1M, the vast majority of them have spent that money up front on things they had never been able to afford before. Considering only half that check survives taxes they will all be in a major bind if they don't play. They said that unwillingness of players to play would not be a reason behind losing games.
